UPDATE: All Net profits from our Jubilation @ Sawmill Gig will be donated to the Victim Support Christchurch Shootings Victims' Fund. #TheyAreUs.

As a non-denominational gospel choir, we fully support all people having the freedom to follow their own religious and spiritual beliefs. Like the rest of Aotearoa, our hearts are with those most grievously affected by the Christchurch Mosque Massacre.

Newsflash ...
three Jubilators recently gonged!!!

Soprano Jackie Clarke became a Member of the NZ Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to entertainment; alto Jennifer Ward Lealand is now a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (CNZM) for services to theatre, film and television, having previously become an Officer of the NZ Order of Merit (ONZM) for services to theatre and the community (2007); and fellow alto Fiona Samuel is a Member of the NZ Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to television and theatre. The light flashing off medals @ our Tapac gig will be blinding...

Jubilation is a unique beast – an acapella gospel choir with a rock & roll heart.

A 33-strong vocal supergroup, Jubilation sing soul, blues and country-infused gospel from the songbooks of Nina Simone, Tom Waits, Curtis Mayfield, Don McGlashan, Isaac Hayes, Blind Willie Johnson and Emmy Lou Harris.

Featuring well known singers Rick Bryant, Jackie Clarke and Jennifer Ward-Lealand, the choir’s diverse ensemble includes several professional musicians, a psychologist, a builder, a maker of super yachts, a handful of actors and a lecturer in Russian.

Jubilation has performed all over New Zealand to crowds large and small - from 10,000 plus on the main stage @ WOMAD to an intimate 60-something at The Old Cheese Factory near Arrowtown.

They can also be heard singingbacking vocals behind Hollie Smith on ‘Bathe In The River’, Don McGlashan’s Silver Scroll award winning hit from the movie ‘Number 2’.

‘Jubilation have brought heart and soul - and a damned fine choir and soloists - to festival audiences up and down the country.’ Philip Tremewan – Festival Director – Wanaka, Tauranga, Taupo & Christchurch.
